The National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) is a body corporate established under the National Health Insurance Act No 2 of 2018. The Act's primary mandate is to provide for sound financing for the national health system in order to provide universal access to quality insured health services to all Zambians. In fulfilling this mandate, the Authority now requires the services of; Role: Roles Officer (01) Principal Accountabilities; Principal Accountabilities; The role will be in charge of receiving, recording and issuing of inventories according to laid down procedures and requests from user departments; Primary Responsibilities; To design and implement processes and procedures for receiving goods from suppliers and how these will be distributed to the user departments; To create, update and reconcile the Asset Register; To receive goods and issue Goods Received Notes (GRNs) to suppliers; To update stock record card; To liaise with Procurement on the levels of stock on a weekly basis to prompt management action; To submit periodical inventory reports to management to inform decision making; To collaborate with Finance for asset verification and report any exception; To accurately and timeously record and post all stock movements in the system accordingly; To update the end-users on new product stock information; and To perform any other task as may be delegated from time to time Educational Qualifications; Grade 12 Certificate with at least 5 'O' levels credits, two of which must be in English language and Mathematics; Equivalent of a certificate from Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply; Relevant Experience and other Attributes; Must have attention to detail; Must be trustworthy and honest; Must have high levels of attention to detail; Must be an effective communicator; Must be a member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing & Supplies (ZIPS); and Must have a valid ZIPS practicing certificate Suitable candidates should apply enclosing the following: Detailed curriculum vitae with 3 traceable referees; Copies of academic and professional qualifications; and National Registration Card.
